Imagination Park

KidTec is a proud supporter of Silent Victims of Crime (SVC) and we would love to share with you their latest project, Imagination Park. Imagination Park will benefit an under-served community in the Miami-Dade County by turning an existing park into an outdoor, year-round, weekend summer camp. The park will have activity circles, a STEAM tower, and theater. Children can enjoy both nature and activities such as meditation, arts and crafts, physical activities and more. With children assisting in the development phase, police officers helping in the construction phase, and the Children’s Trust providing funding in the planning stage, Imagination Park is sure to offer a safe, educational, and fun place for the neighborhood.

Mini Quadcopter Review

Throughout the year, all of us at KIDTEC get to experience tons of cool gadgets and devices. One of our top picks for 2016 is the Cheerson CX-10 Mini quadcopter. Not only is it one of the most entertaining devices that we got our hands on, but it is also one of the smallest!

At this year’s KIDTEC summer camp, we had the opportunity to fly several different models of quadcopters. Camp participants ran obstacles by programming drones with code and raced them on tracks that they helped design! What made this experience so great was that all participants had a lot of fun learning about flight!

Although the Cheerson CX-10 is one of the most basic model quadcopters, what it lacks in features it makes up for in size! The Cheerson CX-10 is about the size of a half-dollar coin. Plug the quad into the remote to charge it, and once it is ready you are free to fly to your heart's content.

The quadcopter is a great way to learn how to fly without having to worry about the possible damage that larger models can cause. Its small size also allows it to be more maneuverable in enclosed environments. If you want to be able to fly indoors or are looking for your first entry into the quadcopters world, the Cheerson CX-10 is our top choice! Inexpensive, small, yet awesome! Fly one and you won’t regret it!
